As a writer and filmmaker from the American South - namely Memphis, I have also lived Paris and in Vienna. After a productive in tenure in Europe, I came to the east for the first time to visit the UK publisher of both my books, who has resided in Bangkok for over ten years. I was impressed with the exotic atmosphere, but most of all with the cordial nature of the Thai people. However, it was not until I was invited by a photographer friend from my hometown to visit him on Wongamat Beach, that I became enchanted with this tranquil, yet stimulating seaside resort. Not only glorious vistas over sun drenched waves, but also surrounded by all the amenities, and by welcoming golden people. It was then that I decided to hang my hat on Wongamat Beach and to decamp from the west.
Among the local property brokers websites, I found photos of a thoughtfully designed 16th floor condo represented by Condo Connection. The pictures showed polished wooden floors and with an open balcony view of the sea and of the coast line sweeping around to The Sanctuary Of Truth.
In the office of Condo Connection, I met with Alexander Finance and his expert staff who showed my the property and offered the rental terms I was seeking. Soon as I stepped on the property of The Palm Wongamat Beach, I knew I'd found my new home. There is nothing of interest this property does not offer: designer pool with water falls, private beach, billiards and club rooms, glassed-in gym over the sea, impeccable landscaping, and covered parking. This is a well-maintained, snappy property run by a smart and attentive staff. Truly I have no intention of leaving.

My journey in search of a condo by the sea in Pattaya really began with sourcing an agent to represent my interests. There were plenty of takers (a mix of fast talkers and pretty faces), though I quickly learnt  a lot of empty words. Fortunately for me I enquired about a listing from Condo Connection and whilst I didn’t buy that particular unit, I had the incredibly good fortune to meet Ken and from that point onwards I quickly realised I had a partner whom put some skin in the game defined by actions rather than words.

Ken is highly professional, native level proficient in both Thai and English, local to Pattaya so has incredibly good knowledge/insights into the market both historically and in regards to future potential… All of which frankly saved my time, money and any regrets. Importantly to me, he was  quick to respond to my queries and did so in a structured manner that was holistic in answering my queries and where needed going beyond the call of duty.

To cut to the chase, in a relatively short period of time he sourced a great 2 bedroom condo in Pratumnak that met my quite particular requirements and thanks to Ken’s deal making skills we got the job done where it may not have been so if with another agent as the seller was a little challenging. As this was my first purchase in the market here it was very much appreciated how he educated me on the approach and created a seamless process from initial offer through to taking title from the land office and indeed after sales support which is cherished.

If I was to give 3 descriptives on the service from  Ken it would Respectful, Easy to deal with and Dependable. Beyond that dealing with the team for this agency was amazing and I even had the fortune of meeting the principals dog who is a real character! So I am now the proud owner of a beachside unit having no  regrets and will look to make another purchase, this time for investment purposes rather than a principal place of abode. Thanks to Ken and all the team, am looking forward to continuing this relationship long into the future. I have only good things to say about Kate and the service that she has provided. I have made two purchases with her so far. I plan to make more in the future as well. She makes the process so easy. I have recommended her to two friends, one has purchased a condo with Kate and the other is in the process of purchasing.

Alex from condo connection did a great job selling our condo at Northpoint in June 2024. Everything went very smoothly and both the seller and buyer seemed very happy with the service. Reccomended agent in Pattaya!
